Evidence basis
Which sourced material relates to a declared claim or assessment consideration.
ECO / Layer 4 / APProach
Informational modelAPProach is ECO’s assessment-methodology role. It describes how evidence, findings, uncertainty, and limitations could be considered against applicable criteria once those criteria are established. Criteria, thresholds, decision rules, and final authority are not defined here; this public page contains no assessment or readiness result.
A readiness statement, if later made under a defined method, would belong to a stated scope and dossier version. The evidence basis, uncertainty, missing information, and limits would stay visible so readers can assess the conclusion in context.
Layer 4 / intended record
Conceptually, an assessment record would keep evidence and limits attached to the same application version. Any readiness statement would depend on established criteria and policy; it would not by itself certify an application or authorize access, publication, or delivery.
Which sourced material relates to a declared claim or assessment consideration.
What the available evidence supports, challenges, or leaves unresolved.
Where the available basis remains incomplete or ambiguous.
What is missing, ambiguous, conflicting, or beyond the available evidence.
How readiness could be described for a defined scope if criteria, method, and policy were established.
One application context / related responsibilities
DIPs for DApps describes application architecture and intended behavior. Data Stewardship is a cross-system disclosure and evidence concern. APProach articulates how evidence and findings could be evaluated against criteria once established; APProVALS communicates validation rationale or a disposition. These related roles do not define a live process or an automatic chain.
Articulates an application’s purpose, architecture, and declared behavior.
Describes assessment methodology, evidence, evaluation, credibility, and readiness articulation.
Communicates validation rationale or a disposition. Explicit policy must define final authority; it remains unresolved.
Data Stewardship may inform assessment and separately governed access considerations. It does not create an intake service or authorize access.
The conceptual responsibilities are distinct from the proposed five-stage operating sequence and from any implemented functionality.
Read the proposed conceptual sequenceThe ECO overview separates a responsibility map from a proposed five-stage conceptual sequence. Criteria, thresholds, decision rules, and final authority remain undefined; the site represents no live assessment workflow.
